Coravirus Alert

Coronavirus – Covid 19

Dear Customer,

We know these are worrying times and that you’re probably trying to ‘carry on as normal’ whilst doing your best to look after friends and family. We’re writing to you as Majestic Travel customers to inform you that we have made the decision with the Governments advice to CANCEL all unnecessary travel for with us for the next week.

We’re taking our responsibilities to respond to Coronavirus – Covid 19 really seriously. First and foremost, we promise you that as Majestic Travel customers you are our number one priority, which is why we’re staying close to the advice from Government to make sure we’re doing the right things.

All customers have the right to contact us for a full refund on 01922 413524 whereby, our friendly team will process your request. We also have an option whereby you are able to be entered onto our credit list, with this list we will hold your payment and at such a time where we are able to resume recreational travel, we will then contact you informing you that Majestic Travel is fully operational once again. You will then be able to browse excursions and re-book using your credit.

HARRY POTTER STUDIO TOUR CUSTOMERS.

On the advice from Warner Bros website they are currently closed and not accepting visitors who have already paid for tickets as is the case with our excursion planed for 30th May 2020.

This is one of the FAQ’s from their website:

I have booked a ticket to visit after 3rd April, can I get a refund?

We are continuing to monitor the situation. If this closure continues to affect your booking, a member of our Visitor Services Team will contact you within 72 hours of your date of visit to process a refund.

We ask our Harry Potter customers to bear with us with this excursion as refunds are not being processed at this time for this date. The further along the virus lasts will determine their decision to open/close and process refunds etc.

For our TT Tours customers, your Boarding Tickets for your chosen FREE day trip will still be honoured. We will contact everyone once recreational travel can resume whereby we shall try to reschedule the same destinations. Over the coming days we will attempt to contact as many customers as possible to inform them of these cancellations, if we could ask you to share this post and apply word of mouth we’re sure to get the message out to everyone.

We’re making every effort to try and help limit the spread of bacteria and virus and have put additional cleaning materials on all of our coaches. Excursions are not our sole daily routine so we’ve also asked our drivers to focus on cleaning more frequently with anti-bacterial spray after every private hire trip.

We will continue to keep you posted with regular updates via our Facebook page/group also on our website.

Finally, we want to take a moment to thank our team for their incredible efforts during these uncertain times.

Take care & stay safe.

Majestic to the rescue..

Hundreds of people from across the Black Country had been due to enjoy an all-inclusive five-day trip to Torquay and other destinations last month with TT Tours.

But the coaches failed to turn up and the shutters were pulled down at the firm’s base at Bilston Indoor Market when people turned for refunds the following day. Now it is being investigated by Trading Standards.

Meanwhile to help bring some smiles back to faces Wolverhampton-based Majestic Travel yesterday stepped in to take many of those left out of pocket on a daytrip to Bicester and Oxford for free.

We have made this Change dueto the demand of our customers. Feedback has discovered that the over 50’s age restriction was having a negative impact for groups that wanted to come on booard with a mixture of ages e.g. Mothers daughters sisters aunts fathers and sons etc.

This in turn, will now enable more mature customers to travel with us in the knowledge that if required they will have the necessary help should it be required from their friends and family with mobile assistance etc.

PLEASE NOTE this particular trip is for over 35’s ONLY, sorry no children

Oxford and Bicester Village

Oxford and Bicester Village

Oxford

Oxford, a city in central southern England, it revolves around its prestigious university, established in the 12th century. The architecture of its 38 colleges in the city’s medieval center led poet Matthew Arnold to nickname it the ‘City of Dreaming Spires’.
Oxford has more clout than most other places of its size. The city centre is compact and simple to get around on foot, which makes it easy to explore this world-famous, culturally diverse, academically-important area.

Starting right in the centre of Oxford with the Bodleian Library complex, one of the oldest libraries in Europe and home to over 11 million books. As you walk east from Turl Street Kitchen to get here, take time to appreciate the architecture along the way, including Oxford’s own Bridge of Sighs (officially Hertford Bridge), the domed Radcliffe Camera at the foot of Catte Street, the decorative walls of the library’s Old School quad, and the Bodleian entrance door itself on Broad Street, decorated with college coats of arms.

With a wide array of shops bars and restaurants there is lots to do in this busy city
